Our Process
Formaldehyde, being constantly released within construction materials, is extremely difficult to remove via DIY methods. Our 4-step process systematically identifies the problem to neutralize formaldehyde at its source for effective, long lasting results.
1. Baseline Readings
In the rooms requested for treatment, we will identify formaldehyde concentration spots and take a series of measurements using industrial calibrated meter. This will form the pre-treatment readings.
2. Preparing Surfaces
We will cover furnishing and appliances using protective sheets. For carpentry areas, we will open cabinets and drawers to expose the surfaces for treatment.
3. Application Process
We will apply a non-photocatalytic solution onto all exposed surfaces using our specialized equipment. Our application process ensures chemical reaction can take place without light, with 360-degree wrap around effect, leading to formaldehyde removal even in dark, inaccessible spots within deep cabinets.
4. Results Confirmation
On the day of treatment, we will take measurements again at the formaldehyde concentration spots to confirm the levels have dropped to the safe range. Cabinets, drawers and other furniture will be restored to their original setup. To ensure your formaldehyde issue is completely resolved, our team will make a follow up visit (2 or 3 days after treatment) to assess the formaldehyde levels.
